At the beginning of May I reached out to a local pet store, that I had worked with for several years when I was involved in the rescue community, to host some of our B&B donation boxes. They graciously offered to host them until after the 4th of July. If we had only known then ... the events in Dallas on July 7th shocked the nation. 5 officers killed. Some have even called it an assassination. As we started to gather up our donation boxes I knew where every item would be going - Dallas. I wanted their K9's and handlers to know that there were still people that believed in them. Appreciated them. Dallas PD - We've got your six. Thank you all for your service.
